ESG VISA has successfully completed a site visit and verification for a newly renovated residential flat, demonstrating the effectiveness of post-retrofitting measures in ensuring a safe, clean, and environmentally responsible indoor environment.
During the visit, ESG VISA conducted comprehensive indoor air quality (IAQ) assessments using advanced measurement technologies. Key findings included:
Temperature: 16.5°C
Relative Humidity: 77%
Formaldehyde Level: 0.29 ppm before treatment, reduced to below 0.1 ppm after treatment
Bacteria Level (SystemSURE Plus): 32 RLU before treatment, reduced to 4 RLU after treatment
These results confirm that the post-retrofit work successfully improved the indoor environment to a healthy standard. The IAQ verification process employed multiple tools, including IoT sensors for real-time environmental monitoring, HAL-HFX105 for formaldehyde measurements, and SystemSURE Plus for microbial assessment.
In addition to air quality, ESG VISA also assessed sustainability practices integrated into the renovation project: Energy Consumption: Optimized use of energy-efficient lighting and HVAC systems to reduce operational carbon footprint. Water Management: Implementation of water-saving fixtures and careful water-use planning to minimize waste. Waste Management: Proper handling, recycling, and disposal of construction and renovation materials to reduce environmental impact.
All collected data, including supplier information, will be stored securely and recorded on the blockchain, ensuring transparency, traceability, and verifiable evidence of both environmental quality and sustainable practices. To maintain privacy, the identities of the designer, main contractor, and IAQ service provider remain undisclosed.
